Naggar Castle, Manali
Set amid the picturesque surroundings of the Bea Valley, Naggar Castle is a historical building dating from the 15th century in the area of Kullu. The castle is now a patrimony-run hotel designed by Raja Sidh Singh in Kullu, managed by the tourism developer Himachal Pradesh. The wooden structure of the castle is characteristic of the area and has been added over the years it by certain European elements. Stay on your Manali route for a day and you’re not going to regret Pass Rohtang. At 4000 meters above the sea-level, you’ll find this high mountain pass on the Range Pir Panjal. Manali Sanctuary, Manali
Manali Sanctuary has a rare view of the wilderness about 2 km from the town. In the sanctuary, which covers 31,8 kilometers, live many endangered and rarely visible animals and plants. Steel sheep fall into the range during the summer. Please keep your zoom lenses in hand if you want to take photos. This sanctuary is made more attractive by the arable, walnut, or deodar trees particularly in the fall when the leaves produce colorful tapestries. Adventure seekers can walk and camp in the sanctuary.
Nicholas Roerich Art gallery
The artistic honor of Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery and Museum is named after a prominent Russian artist who has escaped from the revolution for decades in Himachal Pradesh. Rare photographs of artists, landscape photographs, and indigenous portraits are included among these objects. The museum is housed in its once residential building, which was founded in 1962.
